ART ASSISTANT | SET DESIGN 

For my senior thesis, I designed a set based off of 2000 year old Buddhist caves in western India. My research helped me in keeping the architectural and decorative elements accurate to the time period. The cave serves as a monastery for buddhist monks, also called a vihara, wherein monks live austerely and discuss Buddhist teachings. Architectural elements like lotus pillars, murals and apt set decoration add up to the ambience of the cave. The set model was built in Sketchup and rendered in Vray.
